Container Carrier

Chassis:

• Designed in accordance with international transport standards to provide trouble-free carriage under full load in all ground conditions. Overloading has also been taken into account in the strength calculations. The chassis consists of two “I”-section bodies of high-strength steel and is manufactured using submerged arc welding technology.

Suspension and axle system:

• Axle with a 3x12 ton carrying capacity
• Air suspension system
• EBS braking system designed to European standards

Landing legs:

Two-speed mechanical landing leg system with 25 ton lifting capacity and 50 ton carrying capacity

KING-PIN:

The king pin complies with 2” SAE / DIN standards and is made of forged steel (42Cr Mo4) highly resistant to tension and rupture; it can be replaced practically thanks to its bolted connections.

Electrical system:

• 24 V electrical installation compliant with EU standards.
• Multi-chamber stop lamps incorporating a fog lamp and a reversing lamp are fitted on the vehicle.
• 1 ABS socket and 2 electrical sockets are provided.

Side dropsides:

• N/A

Floor:

• One row of sheet steel and one row of chequered plate, suitable for heavy-duty operation, is preferred.
• The vehicle features 8 twist locks.
