Chassis

330 mm high chassis made of high-strength S700 MC steel, reinforced for intermodal transport. Features a gooseneck tunnel area to which 40 and 45 ft container carriers can be connected. Tunnel dimensions: 3.920 x 1.030 x 120 mm. In accordance with VDI 2700, the coil well is divided by walls into 3 equal sections of 2.150 mm length. At the front and rear of each well section there are 2 stanchion post sockets of 81x81 mm each, 2 x 6 in total. The front and rear coil wells can each be loaded with Ø900-1.600 mm coils of 15 tons, 30 tons in total. The 3 coil wells can each be loaded with Ø900-1.600 mm coils of 10 tons, 30 tons in total. The centre coil well can be loaded with Ø1.400-2.000 mm coils up to a maximum of 30 tons. Additional pads are provided in the centre well section for carrying Ø900-1.400 coils. On both sides of the well section, the floor features 6 lashing rings of 5 ton capacity per side, 2 x 6 in total.

Front panel type

The front panel and its side posts are made of special-alloy aluminium; the panel interior features a 500 mm high aluminium impact plate, and the front right/left corner posts carry lashing rings at 1.000 mm above the floor. A rubber strip on top of the impact plate prevents cargo damage.
