Tank Shell

Cylindrical cross-section design compliant with the EN 14025 design standard,

1 external dished end at the front and 1 at the rear, with internal dished ends / surge baffles to the EN 14025 design standard according to the selected number of compartments,

ISO 3834 welded fabrication quality approval is held,

Unique in the tanker manufacturing industry
a safe, smooth and even-surfaced shell built from transversely seamless one-piece plates in the cylindrical shell structure, joined using the longest weld seam technology with the minimum number of joint (T) points,

Continuous, high-performance robotic welding technology minimises stress effects on the shell and human-induced welding defects, making the shell safe against impacts and collisions,

To increase shell strength and reduce stress effects, robotic welding technology is applied to the OMEGA® monoblock connection saddles at the chassis joint points, allowing the saddles to grip the shell as a single piece,

Special design ensuring complete discharge by preventing liquid from remaining in any tank compartment,

Cleaning manhole for cleaning the tank interior and, when required, each compartment,

Air gap safety against expansion and overflow, compliant with the EN 15120 standard.

Insulation

The tank shell is clad with rock wool, providing full thermal insulation and preserving product temperature and fluidity for extended periods,

Insulation cladding wrapping the shell circumferentially to prevent sagging, protecting against external effects, sealed at the joints with battens and heat-resistant rubber, and given a refined appearance, with front and rear insulation dished ends.

Heating System

Hot water or steam passed through stainless pipes on the inner tank floor, resistant to the operating temperature, keeps the product uniformly fluid.

Filling / Discharge Line

Filling Line

Bottom filling via couplings on the right-hand side (relative to driving direction) or at the rear; top filling through the manhole covers or via closed-circuit filling couplings,

Discharge Line

Free gravity discharge via EN 13094-compliant discharge piping located on the right-hand side (relative to driving direction) or at the rear, running from the footvalves to the couplings, sloped so no liquid remains in the line after discharge,

Discharge pipes welded to imported patented elbows, holding ISO 3834 welded fabrication quality approval.

Equipment

Filling couplings made of standards-compliant stainless material, suitable for chemical contents and preventing release of the transported chemical into the environment,

Chassis

Custom-designed monoblock chassis, angled on the horizontal and vertical axes, matched to the shell design and providing rollover safety,

OMEGA® monoblock connection saddles fit the chassis mounting seats perfectly, creating a rigid structure and increasing strength,

Stress-relief openings in its structure distribute forces transferred from road conditions to the running gear, reducing stress,

Chassis construction parts are manufactured with perfect fit by welders certified under the ISO 3834 welded fabrication quality approval, using synergic welding machines.

Paint

Passivation applied after pickling inside the tank prevents bacterial growth and chemical corrosion,

The tank exterior is painted with at least 2 coats of epoxy primer,

Top coat
“OVEN-CURED PAINT” application with 2 coats of acrylic paint,

Advanced technical equipment achieves homogeneous coverage at every point of the shell and a lacquer-gloss surface finish.
