Tank shell

Cylindrical cross-section, designed in compliance with the EN 14025 design standard,

One external dished end at the front and one at the rear; surge baffles inside the tank compliant with the EN 14025 design standard,

ISO 3834 welded fabrication quality approval is held,

A unique tank shell in the tanker manufacturing sector
the cylindrical shell is built from transversally seamless one-piece plates joined using the longest-weld-seam technology, with the minimum number of junction (T) points and a safe, smooth and even surface,

Continuous, high-performance robotic welding technology minimises stress effects on the shell and welding defects caused by the human factor, making the shell safe against impacts and collisions,

The slope built into the chassis design ensures complete discharge with no liquid remaining in the tank,

Safety against expansion and overflow is provided by an air gap (ullage).

Filling / discharge line

Filling line

Top filling is carried out through a manhole cover with a DN 500 filling opening,

Discharge line

Free gravity or pneumatically driven pressurised discharge through EN 14025-compliant, insulated discharge piping located at the rear of the tank, running from the heat-resistant, manually handwheel-operated footvalve to the safety-providing 3-speed shut-off coupling, with a slope that leaves no liquid in the line after discharge,

At the outlet end of the shut-off coupling there is a drip cup with a drain to collect liquid runoff occurring after discharge,

Discharge pipes welded to imported patented elbows, holding ISO 3834 welded fabrication quality approval.

Chassis

Special-design half chassis matched to the shell design, providing anti-rollover safety, with the shell bracket connections bolted to the chassis

The chassis structural components fit together in perfect alignment,

Fabrication is carried out by certified welders using synergic welding machines under ISO 3834 welded fabrication quality approval,
