TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Box

Frameless, lightweight aluminium box. The outer side walls of Talson vehicles are manufactured from corrosion-resistant, painted and certified aluminium plates. The aluminium plates are joined by being riveted to aluminium profiles at their edges at equal intervals. In this way, if damage occurs anywhere on the side panels, it allows only the damaged aluminium plate to be replaced instead of replacing the entire side wall of the semi-trailer, keeping the repair cost to a minimum. Aluminium offers high UV resistance, ageing resistance and low dirt-retention properties.

Interior Structure Type

The inner section of the side panel is covered with perforated, anodised and patented Talfix® aluminium sheeting. Talfix®-coated panels are suitable for load securing, hanging-garment textile transport and, at the same time, double-deck transport.

Braking System

A dual-circuit electro-pneumatic Wabco brand EBS 2S/2M braking system, compliant with the UN ECE R13 regulation, featuring anti-lock braking (ABS) and roll stability support (RSS).

Chassis

A lightweight axle chassis made of high-quality St-52 steel, consisting of 2 C-shaped longitudinal beams and support crossmembers at the required intervals.

Rear Panel Type

A concealed-lock door made of 2-leaf interlocking aluminium profile. Each leaf has 2 concealed-lock door handles and 5 hinges. Thanks to its flat surface, it is suitable for logo applications.

Electrical System

The vehicle is fitted with Aspöck Europoint 3 brand bulb-type 24 V rear lighting: On the front panel there are 4 white LED position lamps. At the rear of the vehicle there are 2 red LED upper position lamps. Each of the side panels has 4 orange LED marker lamps. In addition, there are 2 bulb-type licence plate lighting lamps.

Floor Decking

A phenolic resin-coated, 27 mm thick, water-resistant plywood floor with a 5.400 kg forklift axle carrying capacity, compliant with the EN 283 standard.

General Body Type

Talson's self-supporting box body structure is manufactured using a special aluminium sandwich design. The exterior consists of high-quality aluminium plates that are attached to the substructure and provide a lighter and brighter design.

Roof

A 23 mm thick roof, with its inner section covered by a single-piece glass-reinforced polyester sheet and its outer section by a single-piece aluminium sheet, reinforced with glass-reinforced polyester profiles. The roof is reinforced with insulation material located between these two sheets.
