Technical Specifications
Chassis:
- Designed to international transport standards for trouble-free carriage under full load on all types of ground conditions. Overloading is also taken into account in the strength calculations. The chassis consists of two high-strength steel bodies with an “I” cross-section and is manufactured using submerged-arc welding technology.
Suspension and axle system:

KING-PIN:
The 2” king-pin complies with SAE / DIN standards and is made of forged steel (42Cr Mo4) highly resistant to stress and breakage; it can be replaced easily thanks to its bolted connections.

- 24 V electrical installation compliant with EU standards.
- Multi-compartment tail lamps including fog lamp and reversing lamp are fitted on the vehicle.
- 1 ABS socket and 2 electrical sockets are provided.

Paint:
After cleaning with water and chemical mixtures, the vehicle is shot blasted; following a double primer coat, it is painted in a special oven to the requested RAL code.
Chassis
High-strength imported and ST52-grade sheet is preferred for the manufacture of the chassis main plate (web plate – side member), the lower and upper flanges, and all cross-members. The chassis is produced by robot welding in an I cross-section form.
- Body
- Imported, high-strength sheets resistant to wear and impact are preferred in production.
- Lighting System
- 24 V lighting, with 2x7+1x15 pin sockets.
- Braking System
- WABCO or KNORR-BREMSE brand, RSS-featured 2S-2M EBS system.
Running Gear
Air-suspended, 70 single-leaf, 3x9 tonne capacity drum-braked domestic axle set.
6 tyres in 385x65xR22.5 size in the brand selected by Barlas, and rims compatible with these tyres.
Paint
Grit metal shot-blasting, epoxy primer and acrylic paint application (in a stove-enamel paint booth).

- The technical specifications of the 22m³, 24m³, 26m³, 28m³ and 30m³ Pool Tipper products are the same as those of the 18m³ Pool Tipper. The main difference between the products is the volume (m³) capacity.
Body
The body is manufactured in a half-pipe (pool) form from abrasion-resistant steel with a thickness of between 3 mm and 12 mm on the floor, sides, front panel and rear tailgate.

Sub-Frame
The additional chassis main rails are manufactured as 8 mm thick press-braked U box profile from imported and domestic material. Inside the main rails, 8 mm thick reinforcement of imported and domestic material is fitted.
Sub-Frame Cross-Members and Connections
All intermediate cross-members/traverses are manufactured from domestic steel material. 10 mm imported and domestic material is preferred for the chassis plate connections. Flexible connections are manufactured from 8-10 mm domestic material.
Piston and Pump
- Domestic-brand telescopic piston of suitable capacity to meet the minimum 45° tipping angle
- Limiting system
- Double-acting, domestic-brand DPA35 125 l/min gear pump
Lighting
Lighting system compliant with the ECE-R48 regulation.
Paint
After shot-blasting, a double coat of epoxy primer and a double coat of full acrylic stove-enamel paint are applied.
